Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a metabolite of a naturally occurring nutrient that is found in cruciferous vegetables. Studies have shown that DIM promotes healthy estrogen metabolism in both men and women by positively directing the metabolism of estrogen toward the 2-hydroxy metabolite instead of the 16-hydroxylated estrone.
